Board of Directors
Connect’s governing board ensures that Connect is carrying out its mission and remains financially sound. The board also works to raise awareness of the school and its work, fundraise to support its mission, and help set the strategic direction of Connect. Members are volunteers. Rocsana Enriquez, Co-President
Rocsana Enriquez is a passionate, working mother of two with expertise in different fields. She was born and raised in Redwood City. She went to the Redwood City School District schools as a child and Sequoia District High schools. She is a fun and caring yoga instructor with The Art of Yoga Project, teaching trauma-informed yoga to incarcerated youth. Rocsana has been practicing yoga for 17 years and is committed to making a difference in her community. She is a community organizer, activist, and a resilient leader in the Bay Area. She has a BA in Justice Studies and a minor in Public Policy and Public Administration from San Jose State University. She has a passion for wellness and loves designing her home during mommy time. Rocsana loves giving back to her community where she grew up.
Jay Dunlap, Secretary
Jay M Dunlap has been a Connect parent for four years. He has over 25 years as a teacher and administrator in traditional public, charter and private schools. In 2019 he founded Learning Farm Educational Resources, an educational Nonprofit that supports students from underserved communities and those with learning differences.
Tommy O’Toole, Co-President & Treasurer
Tommy has served on the board since 2016. He is a partner with a public accounting firm with more than 15 years of experience in the insurance industry. Tommy has three children (three former Connect students).
Cesar has served on the board since 2018. He is a registered nurse, active volunteer at the American Red Cross, and co-leader of a Girl Scouts troop. Cesar has two daughters (one former and one current Connect students).

Anabel has served on the board since 2017. She has been an educator, director, and principal, and has trained over 15,000 educators, parents, and others. Anabel is currently a professor and chair of the department of Education at Notre Dame de Namur University. She is also co-founder of Synapse School in Menlo Park and of a global nonprofit called Six Seconds, The Emotional Intelligence Network.
